75 aliases, three continents, one woman. In
this compelling 4 x 60’ documentary series,
we explore the many lies & lives of serial con
woman Samantha Azzopardi. For the first time,
Samantha’s victims speak out about the trauma
she has ignited in her decades of deception.
But she does not fit the usual profile of a con
artist. Samantha is female, in her 30s and her
motives are a mystery. She doesn’t physically
hurt anyone and barely steals from them. She’s
not in it for the money. Although, as this series
reveals, the emotional and psychological toll
she takes on the lives of her victims is often far
more devastating.
In this gripping series, crossing three continents
and built around world exclusive eyewitness
accounts from Samantha’s victims, viewers are
taken on an intriguing quest to find out – who is
the real Samantha Azzopardi?
